That's not what my high school friends would say...

According to this online quiz, I am only 18% Geek. Hmmmm. That must only be because the questions never asked if I ever wore a hat with a plume in the marching band, if I used to own socks that matched every shirt in my wardrobe, if I know every Barry Manilow song by heart, if I correct people's grammar (in my head, of course) ad nauseum, or if I cry whenever one of my boys outgrows his cute clothing and I have to pack it away. I guess those things only make me a 100% dork.

By the way...since I'm still grading research papers in my "spare" moments (which I am certain -- despite these quiz results -- is a tremendously geeky way to spend my weekends), and I don't have as much time to devote to my blog, feel free to entertain me with your thoughts: What do you do that is geeky (or dorky)?

I have to say the same thing as Lisa that I too will take the quiz and put it on my blog, and that I am so awesomely cool too! :) I guess we'll see. I'm a little nervous to take this quiz. What if I'm more of a geek than I thought? LOL

Holy crap! I am 27% Geek! Who knew? I am too old to be a geek, dontcha think? I am so un-geeky, I lost the site before I could register! Ah, well.....

What did/do I do that is geeky? Well, I was a majorette w. a very weird hat, Dadzie was a drum major w. an even more weird hat.

Today, I washed my shoelaces and cleaned my sneakers. Yippeee---I win!!

I'm 29% geek, which I think is low compared to where I would have rated in grade school. You definitely are less geekier and braver than I.

I was about 28% geek. I wanted to let you know before I posted it to my blog in case you were awake at night wondering. I didn't expect to be more even though I also had the plume and matched all my socks to my wardrobe. Why don't we still match our socks to our shirts? It has been a hard concept for me to accept.

You are a funny girl. Post something else soon. my boys are 6 and 4 and my baby girl is 7 months (8 months on 6/1).

P.S. That Five for Fighting song is making me feel very nostalgic and weepy. Now, the Celine song is going to make me cry my eyes out.

I agree that the test did not ask the questions that *I* consider to be geeky. My husband teaches Information Technology courses and to me those type of people are ALL geek. I thought I'd get 5% and he'd get 99%. Oh well. I'd love to see a quiz on "how dorky are you?". I suppose my geeky husband would be just the right person to ask how to make such an internet quiz. :)

Hey.. It's me again. Just wanted to answer your question about Thomas. The train ride was 25 min and went by really fast. It was almost like riding inside a bus, and my son was not impressed. They did have a lot of free activities, such as coloring, stamping, meeting Sir Topum Hat, face painting, model trains. I was impressed with all the "extras", but we had a lousy weather day. And I could have predicted that Joshua would get frustrated since he has been hard to handle in other really FUN situations. I guess he gets overwhelmed. Tickets went REALLY, REALLY fast, so you might want to get them soon if you decide to go when Thomas visits your town.
