So, I either have really smart friends (and relatives), or my quizzes are just way too easy (which is contrary to popular belief around my students). Kristen, Sarah, Gemma, Kelly, and Kristin, you were ALL right in that Cameron is "painting" his toenails (with a red Blue's Clues crayon, for you sticklers).
When I asked him what he was doing, he said, "I'm making my toenails red so I can be just like you, Mommy." Sigh.

Hmmm. Just had a glitch in trying to post my comment, so I'll try again...
Hooray for us! ...although the other gals were "more right" in thinking that Cameron was using a crayon. Glad it was not lipstick! :) And I still think that his precious face was a wonderful portrayal of concentration. I love him to pieces.
Woo-hoo!
Or, as Homer Simpson would say, "I am so smart! S-M-R-T!"
Too too cute! I have yet to see my kids do that with a crayon, although they get out the real nail polish and paint each others toe nails! :)
Well I'm glad it wasn't a marker! :) My daughter painted her arms with a marker when she was little so she could look like me (after a bad sunburn). Aren't kids the cutest?!?!
